Laura Elizabeth Morales is the Director of Public Relations for the Young Conservatives of Texas. She is the co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Young Conservatives of Texas chapter at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Under her leadership her chapter was named the 2007 Chapter of the Year.
While at UTSA, Laura served in the Student Government Association as Parliamentarian, College Republicans as the Director of Public Relations, Students for Concealed Carry on Campus and was a regular columnist and Chief Photographer for The Independent, UTSA’s online news source.
Laura has been featured on CNN’s American Morning, Marie Claire Magazine, ABC World News with Charles Gibson, The Politico, C-SPAN, the Joe Pags Show and was a speaker at the February 2008 CPAC.
In 2008, she was inducted into the “Townhall of Fame” in Townhall.com’s inaugural issue of their new magazine.
A former Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute Intern and champion high school debater, she was awarded the Coby Pieper Award for Conservative Dedication by the Young Conservatives of Texas, YCT’s highest honor.
